Kaitlin, Robby, and I
Funny how when I said I wanted a pic with my kids T.J ran off. This was Christmas Eve at The Keazers.

Please, no more partys for a while!

I really am too old for this. Jamie had her birthday party yesterday. Friday Mike and I got a bit buzzed and went to play miniature golf. I will never drink again. Don't scoff, I just may never drink again. I will also never smoke again. I am just enjoying the time with Mike. His season is getting ready to break loose so our time together will be limited. He already has all sorts of dates set which translates to money for us but lots of time away from home for him. T.J. got let out of prison. I hope he meets with the parole officers demands and doesn't reoffend any time soon.

The day after Hurricane Willms.

Wow, what a night. I am feeling just how you would expect me to feel. Originaly we were going to have some people over to a simple little BYOB with a fire and chips and dip around 8 in the evening. This would give me plenty of time after T.J's football game to get everthing ready. Right? No. Mike wanted to invite Bill and Jamie over a little early and feed them some steaks. Fine, we could do that, they could come over around 6:30 and I would still have time since it was only 2 people. Right? Wrong. Sometime Friday night, and I do mean night, Mike feels guilty about not feeding his kids. What? You are joking right? No. So, what began as a simple little get together turned into a big bar-b-Que. As expected the football game ran way over so I was just getting home when people were rolling in. Oh my. Don't get me wrong, I love having everyone over, I just didn't have time to plan ahead for it. Mike got the bright idea to make people put their nose on a golf club and run around it ten times then hit a whiffle ball. Oh, my. Glad it was just whiffle balls. I think there are about 20 whiffle balls in the ditch behind our fence and in various neighbor's yards. Bill was the life of the party, he decided to start a water fight with Kaitlin and I. As in real wars, there are no clear winners. But there were plenty of soaked people after. Stacey brought S'mor fixens for the kids and that was a huge hit of course. So, as predicted the night was a huge success. You may wonder why T is not mentioned, or in any pics. He is in "jail" for the next week. He got grounded. Kaitlin brought up how when she was grounded during one of our famous "fight party's" she wasn't allowed to join in the festivities. So there you go. fun was had by all except T, oh, we did feed him bar-b-Que and he did escape his cell more then once.

Monday

Wow, what a week we had. T.J. lost his game Saturday 18-19 in overtime. Darn. Kaitlin had her first cross country meet. Her team took 3rd. Not too bad for their first one. I am proud of her for finishing and not giving up. We have most of the bedroom done. Whew. It took more then we thought to get it done but, I think that is how those kinds of things go. KK has 2 meets this week so I think between that and football I will be swamped as usual. Sunday we built a fire in the firepit and sat out there until late. We even ate our supper out there after the kids went to bed. It was so nice. The weather has finally dried up and the temp is just perfact. I love fall.

My vacation

My vacation so far sucks. I had great plans to renovate my bedroom but it appears that I will not get any help with the project. Great, so I will persevere, surely I can at least paint the room adequately. If not, well it is my room anyway so no harm no foul I spose.
